1.2. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.3. CPGL reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Freight & Logistics Services

2.1 All shipments are accepted under CPGL’s standard freight conditions.
2.2 The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding cargo description, dimensions, weight, and destination.
2.3 Dangerous, prohibited, or undeclared goods may result in cancellation, penalties, or legal action.
2.4 Once cargo is accepted, CPGL will manage transportation, documentation, and communication with carriers and agents.
2.5 CPGL is not responsible for delays caused by shipping lines, customs clearance, weather conditions, or unforeseen port disruptions.
2.6 Customers are responsible for all customs duties, port charges, and destination handling fees, unless otherwise stated in writing.
2.7 Shipments are dispatched upon full payment of the invoice and verification of all required documentation.

3. Delivery & Notification

3.1 CPGL will notify customers when a vessel departs and arrives at the destination port.
3.2 Once the vessel has arrived, it is the customer’s responsibility to collect and clear their cargo using the provided documents.
3.3 CPGL does not provide real-time shipment tracking but will advise customers on vessel schedules and any major updates.

4. Construction & Property Services

4.1 All construction, renovation, and property maintenance work is carried out under a signed quotation or contract.
4.2 Prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote unless otherwise agreed.
4.3 Work commencement is subject to deposit payment and material availability.
4.4 CPGL guarantees that all work will be completed with professional care, quality materials, and safety standards.
4.5 Any variation to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional charges.
4.6 CPGL is not liable for delays caused by weather, supply issues, or factors beyond our control.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Full payment is required before freight dispatch or as specified in your construction contract.
5.2 Late payments may incur administrative fees or interest charges.
5.3 All payments must be made to Cross Pacific Group Ltd via approved bank account or invoice method.

6. Liability & Insurance

6.1 CPGL takes every precaution to handle your goods and property with care.
6.2 Freight shipments are not automatically insured. Customers are encouraged to arrange their own insurance or request coverage through CPGL before dispatch.
6.3 CPGL’s liability is limited to the value of the service fee paid, except where otherwise required by law.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1 Freight bookings cancelled after cargo acceptance may incur handling or storage charges.
7.2 Construction or service cancellations after work has commenced may result in partial charges for labour and materials used.
7.3 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 10 business days of approval.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

8.1 CPGL respects your privacy. All personal information collected is used solely to deliver and improve our services.
8.2 Your information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
